Born and raised Oregon. Obtained both bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work; moved to Texas in 2012 and started my career working with inmates; fast forward in 2018, after getting married made a career change is now working in Recruitment at the University of Texas at Arlington Fort Worth satellite campus.

In addition, I am a Victims Advocate working with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors withThe Women Center of Tarrant County for the last 7 years.

After 9 successful years in Texas, I’ve taken on many leadership responsibilities ranging from Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc,; Ambassador of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive Committee and Ambassador for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, a member and the Mentorship chair with the Hispanic Women Network of Texas overseeing 55 mentors for the Latinas in Progress Education program.
