I joined United Way of Denton County as President and CEO in 2011. Prior to leading the United Way of Denton County team, I served as CEO at Communities In Schools of North Texas for nine years leading this Denton County-based non-profit organization focused on dropout prevention to growth of more than 500%. Prior to entering the non-profit sector in 2003, I enjoyed a successful 17-year career in the for-profit sector at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Manager leading Investment Management and Security Operations engagements and also at Bank of America where serving as Senior Vice President leading the Private Bank Technology & Operations teams in the Wealth Management Division.

I serve as a board member of North Central Texas Workforce Development Board, board member of United Ways of Texas, Texas Woman’s University College of Business Dean’s Leadership Circle advisory board member, past board chair of the Denton Chamber of Commerce, past board member of Texas Association of Partners in Education, 2014 Graduate of Leadership Denton, and Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 Citizen of the Year.  My wife Pamela & I have called Denton County home since 1989 and enjoy time with our two adult children, their spouses and our two grandchildren.
