About Me

Bio

I’m passionate about impacting children’s lives for generational change: giving all children access to programming and career opportunities that they might not be aware of otherwise, helping children realize the power and control they have over their own destinies. Vice President, of Product Program, Retail, and Customer Care, leading the largest girl program that Girl Scouts provides: the Cookie Program.  The Cookie Program is the world’s largest girl-led entrepreneurship program.  I can use my knowledge of entrepreneurship and logistics to create long-term change in young girl entrepreneurs.

My educational background is in entrepreneurship, leading to a successful logistics career.  However, that career path did not fulfill my desire to make an impact in the world around me.  It did set me up for a fantastic career with Girl Scouts based on my real-world experience.  At Girl Scouts, I’m given an opportunity every day to feel that the strategy I create, implement, and test helps support my passions.

I now work as the VP of Youth Development at Camp Fire First Texas.  I oversee our afterschool program, Teens in Action, and summer programs.  I focus on strategic change to create growth and move our programs forward.  I’m so proud to work with such a dedicated and innovative team.  We truly are making a difference in children’s lives daily.  From elementary-age children to teenagers.  My goal is to give as many new opportunities to children as I possibly can.  Things that they wouldn’t get to experience outside of our programs. All while having fun with friends and making memories.

I currently serve on a board committed to professional development and networking among support staff in nonprofit organizations that support volunteers.  DOVIA of Tarrant County.  I serve as the VP of Programs and plan speakers and activities for the membership.

I would love to serve on another board that focuses on impacting youth and education in Tarrant County.
