I am originally from New Orleans, LA and now reside in Forney, TX. I have lived in the DFW area for 16 years.  I am the mother of two beautiful children – one is a junior attending the University of North Texas and the other matriculating through Forney ISD.  I’m employed with the City of Dallas as a Senior Assistant City Attorney.  In this role, I draft ordinances, serve as parliamentarian for several of the city’s boards and commissions and in-house counsel to the city council, boards, and commissions. I also function as one of five land use attorneys for the city.
