Hello!
My name is Kaki Kidd and I am a Fort Worth, Texas native. I am passionate about this community and am excited to serve in any capacity in which I can contribute to meaningful results. I currently work at the Tarrant Area Food Bank and have over 8 years of experience in the nonprofit industry. My educational background is in Human Development and Family Science, with specializations in child and family services.
I am open to serving on the board of any nonprofit where I can be a useful contributor, and that aligns with my personal values. My personal values include compassion, balance, human dignity, community, and empowerment.
I love to work with others toward a common goal and am comfortable as a leader or a contributor. To me, it is important to capitalize on the strengths of each individual in a group in order to cultivate a team where each person is valued.
As a person, I am often described as outgoing, well-spoken, and funny. I like to make sure everyone has a seat at the table, so to speak, and ensure everyone feels included and comfortable.
