I currently serve as Executive Director Clinical Operations with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas overseeing a department of licensed clinicians case managers. I’ve blessed with a long tenured career in healthcare including leadership roles within hospital systems, health plan medical management, working with physician groups Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), and with the Federal Government overseeing statewide quality improvement initiatives for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). I am licensed as a Registered Nurse and hold a Master degree—Health Services Management (MA), and Master’s in business administration (MBA). Additionally, I am certified in healthcare quality (CPHQ), Green Belt Six Sigma, and hold a Fellowship in Patient Safety Leadership.  I am proud to be a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).  My roots are in the Caribbean island of The Bahamas. My family and I lived in Louisville Kentucky for many years before relocating to Texas 2018 after being offered the job for my current role Executive Director Clinical Operations for the Texas Health Plan. My husband Kerwin and I, along with our two young adult daughters–Sasha and Sabrina, are excited for the opportunity to integrate in our new Texas community and church-based outreach and volunteer activities.
