I am a biotech executive with over 20 years of experience bringing oncology innovations into the clinic and the market. While I remain deeply committed to my mission to enrich and extend the lives of cancer patients, the pandemic seeded within me a need to give back to my broader community. I realized that while I was a successful performer and team-focused manager, I lacked the mentorship and skillset needed to be a great leader. It was my lifelong dream to attend Harvard, and last year I was accepted into the MPH-Epi program at Harvard University. In addition to augmenting my STEM-related skills with biostatistics and epidemiology, I have used this opportunity to immerse myself in every leadership, management, and finance course offered for cross-registration with the Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools. I am joining BoardBuild with the hope that I can use my newfound empowerment and broad skillset to make an impactful difference in my community.

While I am passionate about mentoring and guiding women and underrepresented groups into science-related careers, I would be interested in opportunities within and outside the biotech/science space. And while I have a lot of education and lived-in experience, I remain genuinely curious to learn and uncover new ideas and challenges.
