Born and raised Oregon. Obtained both bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work; moved to Texas in 2012 and started my career working with inmates; fast forward in 2018, after getting married made a career change is now working in Recruitment at the University of Texas at Arlington Fort Worth satellite campus.

In addition, I am a Crisis Interventionist Victim Advocate working with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors withThe Women Center of Tarrant County for the last 10 years.

After 12 successful years in Texas, I’ve taken on many leadership responsibilities ranging from Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc,; Ambassador of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive Committee and Ambassador for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, I’m on the State Executive Board of Director serving as State Education Chair overseeing 7 of 10 chapters with an active Latinas in Progress education series.
