Hello! I’m Edgar and I’m originally from Puerto Rico. I attended college in Boston and after living a few years there I moved back to the island to work as a flight attendant and in-flight cabin instructor with American. I met my current wife while flying together the Caribbean skies, and from there we transferred with our jobs to Dallas-Ft. Worth. We set roots in the Metroplex and our only son was born here in Grapevine.

During American’s bankruptcy proceedings, the airline extended me a separation package and we parted ways. I had to reinvent myself and my customer service skills brought me to the hospitality industry, where I’ve been for almost seven years now. I’ve accomplished many things in life and it’s time to give back to my community. Serving in a board of a non-profit company is one way to contribute for a good cause.

Among my hobbies: passionate about films and the fine arts, a voracious reader and a decent chess player.
