I am a seasoned healthcare executive with over a decade of experience leading transformational initiatives across hospital operations, system-wide care redesign, and strategic innovation. Currently serving as Director of Operational Design and Deployment at Texas Health Resources, I have consistently delivered measurable outcomes in quality, efficiency, and patient experience through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership.
Throughout my career, I’ve led high-impact initiatives including the development of a virtual video visit service to expand market share, the implementation of AI tools to streamline hospital discharge processes, and the rapid deployment of community vaccine clinics during the COVID-19 pandemic. My leadership in redesigning stroke care models contributed to an 86% reduction in stroke mortality which gained THR a Bill Aston Award in 2022, and my work in perioperative services resulted in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Previously, I held roles as Project Director in the Transformation Office, Business Manager of Perioperative Services, and Project Manager of Operational Excellence, where I led enterprise-wide and hospital specific initiatives in care standardization, Lean process improvement, and change management. My ability to mobilize multidisciplinary teams and mentor emerging leaders has been a hallmark of my leadership style.
I am a Certified Change Practitioner (Prosci) and hold Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certifications, with a strong foundation in quality improvement, patient safety, and healthcare operations. I’ve presented at national conferences and received multiple awards, including the Bill Aston Award for Quality and the Mosaic Pin Award for excellence in diversity and collaboration.
I am an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), where I served as Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary of the Education Committee. I also contributed to my community through leadership roles in local education and parent-teacher associations and am now the VP of Membership for my local elementary school.
With a proven track record of innovation, governance collaboration, and operational excellence, I bring a strategic and systems-thinking perspective to Board service, with a deep commitment to advancing healthcare quality, equity, and sustainability. My interests are vast as i have a passion for helping others through education and learning, supporting the local community and the arts, as well as an avid lover of animals.
