Juleon D. Lewis is the founder and leader of Live Pura Vida, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities of color through education, entrepreneurship, and cultural preservation. With a background in social entrepreneurship, Juleon participated in the Social Entrepreneurship Certificate Program at SMU’s Cox School of Business, sharpening his skills in leadership and community development.

Juleon also leads Pura Vida Youth (PVY), an innovative afterschool program that integrates self and community awareness, arts, technology, entrepreneurship, history, and culture. His goal is to foster well-rounded youth who are connected to their heritage and empowered to create lasting change in their communities.

Currently, Juleon is focused on building a board of directors to take Live Pura Vida to the next level. He is committed to assembling a diverse, strategic group of leaders with expertise in education, entrepreneurship, legal governance, and social enterprise. Juleon’s vision is to create sustainable, impactful programs that not only equip youth with essential skills but also encourage self-empowerment and cultural pride.

Through his leadership, Juleon is helping shape the next generation of leaders who will drive positive social impact across local and global communities.
