Bio |
With over 16 years of experience in nursing, I bring a strong clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. My professional journey has spanned both Oncology and Emergency Medicine, where I’ve cultivated a broad and adaptable skill set. Over the past eight years, I’ve transitioned into leadership roles, serving as an Administrative Supervisor for five years and an Oncology Manager for three years. I was Co-Chair in 2024 and current Chair of our hospital Leadership Collaboration Council. These roles have sharpened my abilities in strategic planning, team development, and operational oversight.
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and I am board-certified in nursing leadership (NE-BC). These academic and professional achievements reflect my dedication to continuous learning and excellence in healthcare leadership.
My goal in joining Board Build is to expand my leadership impact beyond the clinical setting by serving on the board of a nonprofit organization. I am eager to contribute my healthcare expertise, operational insight, and collaborative spirit to a mission-driven organization. Through board service, I aim to grow my knowledge of governance, deepen my understanding of nonprofit strategy, and develop as a more well-rounded and community-focused leader.
