I am a transformational school leader committed to ensuring all students’ success in college, career, and life. I relentlessly focus on driving exceptional levels of student achievement through high expectations, continuous improvement, and fostering collaboration.

Throughout my educational career, my core values of achievement, growth, and teamwork have anchored my work. As a secondary science teacher, I focused on empowering students who are traditionally under-represented in STEM fields and led them to significant ACT growth, helping put them on a path to and through college.

As the founding principal of Rise College Prep, I provided a proof point that all students can and will achieve at high levels when provided with challenging academics, high expectations, and excellent teachers. I led the school to the highest student achievement results in the entire IDEA Public Schools Network and an “A” rating from the TEA.

Looking forward, I am incredibly excited to found and lead Fort Worth STEAM Academy, an exceptional public charter school that provides all students with a high-quality STEAM education and enables them to attain the career of their dreams.
