Joseph Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Strategy in the Department of Management & Leadership at the Neeley School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Joseph’s research deals with behavioral aspects of corporate executives and directors, and he conducts research primarily in the areas of strategic leadership and corporate governance. His work has been published in some of the top journals in his field, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science. Prior to coming to academia, Joseph worked as a consultant for PwC in Washington, D.C. and as a financial assistant to the CFO of PartnerMD, a small startup concierge medical company in Richmond, VA. He describes his greatest passions as faith, family, football, and strategic management.
