I currently serve as a Professor of Professional Practice in the Department of Accounting at Texas Christian University.  I am also the Director of the Master of Accounting and Master of Science in Business Analytics programs. I teach undergraduate and graduate accounting students in a variety of subject matters including: financial statement audit, assurance services, internal controls, business valuation, and data analytics.    In addition, I mentor students in career and professional development.  Specifically, I review accounting resumes and discuss best practices for interviews and networking.

My goal for joining BoardBuild is to contribute to a not-for-profit entity as a member of their finance committee.  I am interested in a variety of organizations including education, woman’s rights, and animal rights/adoption.
