Technology Specialist

Tammy McMahon has spent most of her career in Technology and prior to having a family was an international road warrior supporting the expansion of F5 Networks in Latin America and the Caribbean where she developed a deep love of food, wine, and discovery of the unique culture of each country she supported.   She is now continuing to share her passion for cultures and global diversity with her twin boys and learning more daily about how to help the neurodiverse thrive in a society that is sometimes too black and white.   In her spare time, she is an active investor in Portfolia, the most powerful community of women investing together in the companies we want in the world, for returns and impact.

Tammy is currently a Global Enterprise Sales Specialist for Cisco who leads, guides, and motivates a team of 40+ individuals (all dotted line, no direct reports) to support one of Cisco’s Top 100 accounts by revenue.   She connects people and ideas through her creative out of the box thinking.  She can straddle multiple domains and can pivot from thought leadership to execution machine with ease.

While Tammy was at F5 Networks for 7 years, she held a variety of positions working her way up from Business Development, Inside Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Field Sales, and Channel that took her to 30+ countries.   She has a passion for the ever-changing technology landscape and currently gets the pleasure of supporting a Cisco Customer that is at the bleeding edge of Technology and AI.  At both companies she has been an avid learner taking a wide variety of leadership and communications trainings and always participates in the annual executive shadow program to build her network.

Tammy speaks and writes fluent business level Spanish and English as well as Portuguese and has presented in front of groups of 100+ attendees in all 3 languages.   She loves a good sales pitch contest and was a past finalist in the companies Meraki Pitch Contest and is vying for a win at Cisco’s Security Pitch Contest this winter.  When Tammy is not in meetings you are likely to find her exploring real estate investment opportunities, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, exploring the outdoors with family, planning their next exotic vacation, or checking out the latest zoo/aquarium with the kids.
